We will also have a small quantity of LED light bulbs, desk lamps and smart power strips for sale.
Also bring along your gently-used, wearable pairs of shoes this year to support the Miller School fundraising program called ShoeBox Recycling.  Donated shoes are shipped around the world for resale and reuse. Our school earns $20 for each filled box of shoes! ShoeBox Recycling money goes directly toward funding our school’s many activities, including arts and education programs. We are also partnering with The Mary's Community Thrift Store to increase our schools' profits.  Shoes must be in wearable condition, without holes in the soles, cannot be wet or mildewed, and must have shoelaces if they are necessary for the shoe to function.

A BIG THANK YOU to all who helped in our recycling fund raiser.  Over $1300 for the troop!  The boys should be proud of their effort and hard work. Pictures will be coming soon.

I would like to thank all the Scouts and Adults that participated n Saturday's yard cleanup.  It was a truly rewarding day.

I am not really sure how to  measure the success  of the project.Could it be the amount of raking that was done, the  number of loads of yard debris discarded, the number of bushes that were trimmed, the number of trees that were trimmed, the amount of gravel that was redistributed back to the driveway or replacing the warn out flag with a new one.  Or could it be the fun that was had working as a team,  providing a good turn or the smile and great appreciation that the day of service brought to a senior citizen in our community.

My take it was all of the above.  GREAT JOB TO ALL!!

Mr. Litchfield
