Clark's Trading Post in Lincoln, NH is hosting a Merit Badge Fair. In addition to the rides and shows that Clark's has to offer, the boys can participate in different presentations that will help fulfill the requirements of their badges. A merit badge counselor will be present to sign off on the presentations. All the presentations will begin at the Scouting Tent and have a limited amount of seating, so book early to reserve your spot. Click here for more details!
.Just wanted to send a note to thank Scouts Charlie, Alex, Mathieu and Andrew who built and tended the fire throughout the Live Nativity event at the church this past Sunday. The evening was cool and the boys tended the fire in true Scout style throughout the event as people gathered around that nativity and the fire to warm up. The boys did have the opportunity to enjoy some hot chocolate as well. After the event they left no trace of the fire also in true Scout form.
From the church perspective the event was a success and from a Troop perspective the boys did a GREAT JOB! on our part of the program. The church truly appreciates our involvement. Check out the pictures of the boys! The Lowell Sun had a photographer at the event link to those pictures are below: Pictures of the Live Nativity Scene Thank you and Merry Christmas! Mr. Litchfield
Save the date for Troop 95's "Feast in the Forest" Webelos Fall Invitational event on Saturday Oct 24th at 1:30 PM at MIT/Haystack in Westford. The event runs until ~7 PM, and all Webelos I and II scouts and their families are invited.
We are offering the chance for Webelos to participate in various activities, enjoy dinner and a campfire to find out more about Scouting and Troop 95. Also there is a camp out option so boys and their parent(s) are welcome to stay over Saturday night with the troop - this fulfills one of the Arrow of Light requirements. More details to follow. Click here for pics from previous years! Hi All! Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! I added pictures of the the Spring Court of Honor. There are some great pictures of parents and kids. Please take a look and upload your favorites. I have also added some pictures of summer camp but unfortunately there are very few. If anyone has taken any pictures, please email them to me or share them with the troops Google Drive and I will get them onto the web site. Email me if you have any questions. Enjoy the remainder of your summer. See you all in September!
Summer camp at Wah-Tut-Cah is quickly approaching and we are still missing medical forms from several scouts. Please refer to Mr. Nolan's email of 7-8-15 for the list. Lists of what you need to bring to camp are also in that email or can be found on the "Help and FAQs" page on this website.
Spirit of Adventure Council, West Wind District, had published their 2015/16 calendar. Click here to see what events the council has planned for the upcoming year!
For any scout attending summer camp with the troop at Wah-Tut-Ca, this is a reminder to please bring your medical forms to this week's meeting. Mr. Nolan will be attending a pre-camp meeting on 6/17 and the more completed forms he has, the easier the summer camp check-in process on July 26 will be!
Here is the link for the medical form - Parts A, B and C that you will need for the week at camp: http://www.scouting.org/filestore/HealthSafety/pdf/680-001_ABC.pdf Most of this form can be filled out on the computer and then printed and given to your physician for their signature. You will need to bring a completed copy of the medical form (with all needed signatures) and a photocopy of your health insurance card to hand in to Brian Nolan or Tom Anderson. If your doctor's office does a printout of all your medical history, that may be attached to the medical form. Cathy Stewart |
