  • Duct tape to fasten to your cot (to support mosquito netting)
  • Mosquito Netting for over bunk (can buy at any scouts store)
  • Full Class A uniform
  • Class B shirts, Tee shirts – enough for a week (3 or 4 each item)
  • Pants and shorts – enough for a week (3 or 4 each item)
  • Underwear –7 pairs
  • Socks –7 pairs
  • Sneakers
  • Hiking Boots
  • 2 Swim suits
  • Beach Towel
  • Hat or baseball cap
  • Rain Coat
  • Bath Towel, Face Towels and Wash Cloth (2 each)
  • Soap (try for unscented)
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Flashlight and extra batteries
  • Canteen or water bottle or Personal Cup
  • Flip Flops for shower
  • Shampoo
  • Bug lotions (No aerosols)
  • Disinfecting hand lotion
  • Pocketknife
  • Scout handbook, Merit badge pamphletsor worksheets (if you’ve already chosen the badge(s) you want to work on; pen; paper partial merit badge blue cards (that you want to finish at camp) )
  • Book to read for pleasure
  • Folding chair
  • Pillow
  • Camera
  • Sunglasses
  • Money
    • Scouts should budget $10 - 15 cash for dinner at Johnson's (Wednesday night’s) - the plan is for the troop to paddle there from camp - UNSURE If this will happen, depends on the # of adults going on Wed. and the coverage on the water.
    • Spending for week - enough for 5 days of snacks and drinks at the trading post.
What NOT to bring (Council rules. Not just Troop 95 rules!):
  • Cell Phones
  • MP3 Players, IPods, Walk-Man Players, Handheld Game Systems, and other electronics
  • Camouflage clothing
  • Sheath Knives
  • Aerosol Cans of ANY type
  • Valuables

New scouts may also want to bring:

  • Four Tennis Balls for the top of the dowels
  • Make sure you buy long/tall netting not the short netting. It must cover down below the bunk mattress.
  • Bug wipes work good
  • Some scouts like head lamps (flash lights)
  • Possibly a deck of cards
  • Possibly a laundry bag to place dirty clothes in. (then is easy to unload for home washing after camp.
  • Class B shirts, Tee shirts - These can be purchased up at camp in the trading post. (last year's are cheaper if they have them)

Campsite: Upper Wannalancit - which is located off the parking lot beside the camp store.

ALSO -- if you are a parent coming later in the week to stay, please consider taking your swim test on Sunday to get that out of the way, so plan accordingly.
